In a highly anticipated announcement, the Ministry of Education has unveiled the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023, revealing the crème de la crème of law colleges in India.
Topping the charts and claiming the coveted first place is none other than the prestigious National Law School of India University (NLSIU) in Bengaluru.
With a remarkable score of 80.52 points, the NLSIU has outshined its competitors and secured its reign as the best performing law college in the country. This achievement is a testament to their unwavering commitment to excellence. But that's not all – they have also shown significant growth, surpassing their previous score of 78.00 points in 2022.
The race for the runner-up position was no less intense, with the National Law University, New Delhi maintaining its strong standing at second place with a commendable score of 73.91 points.
Trailing closely behind is the esteemed NALSAR University of Law in Hyderabad, securing the third spot with an impressive score of 73.76 points. Their ascent to the top tier is noteworthy, having climbed from the fourth position last year.
Not to be left behind, the West Bengal National University of Juridicial Sciences in Kolkata has made a leap in rankings, ascending to the fourth spot with a noteworthy score of 69.34 points. Their progress is evident, having surged ahead from the fifth position in the previous year. Adding to the excitement is Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi, which has soared to the fifth position this year with a commendable score of 68.30 points. This remarkable rise of two ranks from their previous seventh position speaks volumes about their dedication to excellence.
