Passage 1 was based on the fiction book Fire on the Mountain by Anita Desai
All Questions were direct and easy to answer.
Passage 2 was based on the text about Contemporary Literature where an interplay between character and setting is discussed.
Straight forward and easy questions were asked including contextual vocabulary.
Passage 3 was based on the text about how English Literature offers a window into human experience. Examples of authors like Shakespeare, Jane Austen and Virginia Woolf were given. Here also the questions asked were simple and easy.
Passage 4 was based on an excerpt from the Frontline article on judicial reforms, titled Justice and the Two Ideas of India by G. Mohan Gopal. Here the questions were of moderate level of difficulty.
