CLAT 2024 Analysis: First Impressions

Easy Paper| Plenty of Time

 First Impressions:

The CLAT 2024, conducted across 139 centers in India, marked a significant shift in its question pattern, reducing from 150 to 120 questions while retaining the 120-minute duration. The paper, contrary to expectations, was relatively straightforward, posing minimal challenges to well-prepared candidates.

Approximately 100,000 candidates have shown interest in enrolling for CLAT 2024, setting the stage for intense competition. This heightened challenge stems not only from the significant candidate pool but also due to the paper's easier nature, amplifying the competitive atmosphere.

Quick Analysis:

The CLAT 2024 was categorizable as easy, with a few challenging questions interspersed. Given the unchanged number of seats in NLUs, the number of attempts became crucial, with a target of 95-110 attempts suggested for securing admission into top NLUs.  Achieving a score of 95 or above will likely secure admission in the top two National Law Universities.

Road Ahead:

As CLAT aspirants await their results and prepare for the upcoming AILET, it’s evident that thorough preparation, especially in sections like Current Affairs, English and Reasoning, can greatly enhance one's chances of success in these competitive exams.
